Giza Pyramids

Giza is a set of pyramids located in Egypt and it is considered to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It took 27 years to build the Pyramid of Giza, and it is one of the largest structures in the world as well. Khufu was the king of Egypt that this particular pyramid was made for. He wanted it to feature a solid rock base so that it would remain stable as time passed.

Others are in honor of the gods such as the Sphinx. There are many temples in Giza too where the Egyptians used to go to worship.

It is likely you would prefer getting there in the relaxation of a car then by riding a camel.

The fact that the Egyptians had the ability to create such magnificent structures with their limited supplies and technology is amazing. Anyone that doubts their capabilities only needs to look at Giza to be assured they were anything but simple people.
